The following booking conditions form the basis of your contract with Soul Trek (“we”, “us” and “our”). Please read them carefully as they set out our rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions and agree to them.

Local Circumstances

You acknowledge that travelling with Soul Trek requires a degree of flexibility, good humour and an understanding that the itinerary accommodation, and / or modes of transport may change, even after a tour’s commencement, without prior notice due to local circumstances. Changes may occur because of ‘Force Majeure’, poor road conditions, weather, Government rules and the availability of tickets, vehicle breakdowns, changes in transport schedules, accidents or other circumstances beyond Soul Trek’s control or which simply cannot be foreseen. Soul Trek will not accept any responsibility for loss of enjoyment, delays or compensation resulting from circumstances beyond its control. You acknowledge that group sizes may also vary during the duration of the tour.

Medical Circumstances

SOUL TREK does not recommend you to come for any of its trek if you suffer from severe muscular, chest, heart, asthmatic, or bronchial disorders, or have high blood pressure you are advised against coming on SOUL TREK’s trekking trips that go to high altitude.

All travellers over the age of sixty will be required to obtain a medical certificate of fitness. If you fail your medical, a full refund of deposit paid will be made, providing the medical as requested by SOUL TREK is returned within one week of booking.

Please note: Discovery of any undisclosed medical conditions will result in you being asked to leave the trip and will invalidate most insurance policies.

SOUL TREK reserves the right to cancel your participation in a trip at any time after trip commencement with no right of refund if your lack of fitness (for the grading of the booked trip), medical condition and/or disability could reasonably affect the trip or your safety and/or the enjoyment of other trip members.

The information about trips given in any brochures, trip notes and pre departure information are subject to change. It is your responsibility to review up – to – date trip notes and pre departure information. These can be obtained from SOUL TREK’s website. You can also receive any information by mailing us on info@soultrek.co. The information and conditions in the trip notes and pre departure information are deemed to be part of the contract. Where changes to your trip occur after you have received your final documentation we will, where practical, advise you or your agent of such changes.

Price Circumstances

Prices are based on cost and exchange rates applicable when the brochures and website were updated. Soul Trek reserves the right to adjust prices whether or not you have made full payment. Soul Trek will do everything within its control not to adjust prices and will only adjust or amend prices in the unfortunate event of increased exchange rates, fuel cost (imposed on SOUL TREK) and other operating cost on which prices are based.

International citizen circumstances

All international citizen require to carry a copy of their medical insurance and adventure sports must be covered for the convenience of the trekkers. However an insurance policy covering any accident can also be used. Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour/trip price. While every effort is made to ensure the safety for all, it is highly recommended that you obtain personal travel insurance that is adequate to cover you for any event. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability.

Rescue Circumstances

In an event where rescue by helicopters or experts is required, the expenses will have to be paid to the concerned authority. Soul Trek does not do any rescue and will use a third party/Government organization.

Risk Circumstances

While every effort will be made to ensure your safety and follow SOUL TREK’s itineraries, in the event of political problems or natural difficulties which are beyond Soul Trek’s control and prevent our travelling to a particular area, Soul Trek reserves the right to substitute an alternative activity for that section of the trip. The cost of any such changes or delays shall not be the responsibility of agents or Soul Trek. By accepting Soul Trek terms and conditions you acknowledge your decision to travel on a Soul Trek trip is made after you have considered all relevant travel information supplied by Soul Trek and travel advice provided at any time by government bodies and associated agencies.

Booking and Cancellation Circumstances

We create itinerary according to the present circumstances, therefore you can book thereafter upon an agreed activity. Booking can be done through direct bank transfers as well as with our merchant partner Paypal. The amount can be paid fully or 50% of the booking amount, or through a non-refundable  booking amount of Euro 428 or USD $500. In case the amount is paid partly, you have to pay full amount 30 days before the date of journey. In the event of cancellation, the person has to inform atleast 45 days before the Date of Journey, a booking amount of $500 will be deducted. The amount will be sent back to the person’s bank account within 14 days of confirmation of cancellation. Since Soul Trek has many agents and vendors if in case the money has already been sent to them, it will deem unrecoverable.
